Divine Hospital’s surgical suite is open for scheduled surgery five days a week, eight hours a day. Anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and Registered Nurses are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency surgery. Eight fully equipped operating rooms, a room for minor procedures, and a postoperative ambulatory surgery recovery suite are part of the department.
Each patient’s preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative assessment and care, as well as the appropriate teaching, are all influenced by the surgeon, operating room nurses, and other allied health professionals. When the length of stay is short (daycare), we make every effort to get in touch with each patient the day after surgery for follow-up.
